This article explains what Ask Fospha AI is, how to access it, and how to get the most out of it from your first session.

What is Ask Fospha AI?

Ask Fospha AI brings Fospha's Measurement Operating System into a natural-language chat inside the platform. It lets you ask questions about your paid marketing performance in plain language - and get answers drawn directly from Fospha's daily measurement across web, Amazon, and TikTok Shop.

Every answer is grounded in the same data that powers your dashboards. Numbers are cited back to their source, so you can always trace what the model used to reach an answer.

Note — Ask Fospha AI vs Fospha for Agents Ask Fospha AI is Fospha's in-platform AI tool, designed for teams who want to query their measurement data in natural language without installing any external software.

It is different from Fospha for Agents (MCP), which connects Fospha's measurement to external AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or custom agent workflows. Ask Fospha AI lives inside the platform — no configuration required.

Who is it for?

Ask Fospha AI is available to all Fospha tiers. The interface is the same across Lite, Pro, and Enterprise.

How to access Ask Fospha AI

Ask Fospha AI is available directly from your Fospha dashboard — no installation, no configuration, no separate login.

Step 1 — Open the Fospha dashboard Log in to your Fospha account as normal.

Step 2 — Navigate to Ask Fospha AI Go to: Dashboard → Ask Fospha AI, or navigate directly to /dashboards/<your-client>/ask-fospha.

Step 3 — Set your filters (optional) The composer includes filter pills for Date, Market, Channel Group, and Source. These inherit automatically from your dashboard filter state, so you don't need to re-enter context before asking a question. You can adjust them at any time during the conversation.

Step 4 — Ask your first question Type your question into the composer and press Enter. The response will include the data sources used to construct the answer.

Tip: If you're not sure where to start, use one of the seeded prompt cards on the empty state — they're designed to show you the kinds of questions that work well.

What you can ask

Ask Fospha AI can answer questions grounded in the measurement data your tier has access to.

  • Which channels are generating the most incremental revenue this month?
  • How does my TikTok Shop performance compare to overall paid social?
  • How is my Meta ROAS trending over the last 30 days?

Attribution comparisons

  • How does Fospha's measurement of TikTok compare to what TikTok Ads Manager is reporting?

Good to know: Ask Fospha AI works best with specific, time-bounded questions. The more context you include — channel, time period, market — the more precise the answer. If a question falls outside what the model can ground in your data, you'll receive a clear message rather than an estimated answer.

How answers work

Ask Fospha AI is grounded by default. This means:

  • Every numerical claim in a response is traced back to a specific data source
  • Each response includes tool-call cards showing which data was queried
  • If a number cannot be verified against your measurement data, the model will not include it

Responses may be more specific — and sometimes shorter — than a general-purpose AI tool. That's intentional. You're getting answers your measurement can support, not answers generated from patterns alone.

Tips

Be specific about time periods. Questions that include a clear time frame — "last week", "the past 30 days", "this month vs last month" — tend to return more useful answers than open-ended trend questions.

Use filter pills to set context. If your question relates to a specific market, channel group, or source, set those filters before asking. The model uses them as context throughout the conversation.

Follow-up questions work naturally. The model carries context between turns, so you can ask "Which channels are driving the most incremental revenue this month?" and follow up with "How does that compare to last month?" — without restating your setup.

Troubleshooting

The model says it can't answer the question The question may be outside what your current data covers. Try rephrasing with a specific time period, channel, or market. If the issue persists, contact your Customer Success contact.

Answers seem to be missing a channel Check your filter pills. If a Source or Channel Group filter is active, it may be scoping out that channel. Clear filters and re-ask.

The response is slower than expected Multi-step questions that pull across several data sources can take up to around 18 seconds. The model is retrieving and reconciling multiple data points before responding — this is expected.

Frequently asked questions

Is Ask Fospha AI the same as Fospha for Agents? No. Ask Fospha AI is an in-platform chat surface built into your Fospha dashboard — no setup required. Is the data the same as what's in my dashboard? Yes. Ask Fospha AI uses the same measurement data that powers your Fospha dashboards — the same daily refresh, the same channel coverage, the same figures. It is a different way to access the same source.

Does Ask Fospha AI make recommendations? Ask Fospha AI surfaces directional signals grounded in your measurement data — trends, performance shifts, and channel-level patterns that are strong starting points for budget and optimisation decisions. The output is designed to accelerate your decision-making, not replace it. Where the model surfaces a directional observation, validate it against your broader context before acting.

Can I use Ask Fospha AI in any language? Yes. You can ask questions in any language and Ask Fospha AI will respond in kind. The underlying measurement data and methodology remain consistent regardless of input language.

For questions about data retention, refer to Fospha's privacy policy or speak to your Customer Success contact.
