Getting Started with Fospha AI Actions

Learn what AI Actions is, how to get access, and how to use it to make changes in your ad platform directly from Fospha, starting with Change campaign budgets.

AI Actions lets you make changes in your ad platform directly from Fospha. You choose an action, such as change campaign budgets, tell Fospha what it applies to, and check exactly what will change before anything goes live. When you approve, Fospha makes the change under your own login, confirms it has landed, and records it so you can revert it later.

Fospha shows you how your campaigns are performing. Acting on that usually means switching to your ad platform, finding each campaign, and editing values one at a time. AI Actions lets you decide and act in the same place, and keeps a record of what changed and why.

What is AI Actions?

AI Actions is a page in Fospha, found in the left-hand menu, that lists the actions you can take in your connected ad platform. Each action is a specific type of one-off change, with its own guided steps.

A few terms are used throughout this guide:

Action - a specific change you can make, such as Change campaign budgets. You pick one action at a time and Fospha takes you through it step by step.

Connector - the link between Fospha and your ad platform account. You set it up once in Settings > Connectors, using your own login for that platform. TikTok is the first supported platform.

Proposal - the list of changes Fospha prepares for you to check. Each line shows the current value, read live from your ad platform, alongside the new value.

Approval - the step where you decide. Nothing changes in your ad platform until you approve.

Audit log - a record of every change you approve: what changed, who approved it, when, and why.

What you will see:

When you open AI Actions, the page shows:

  • Choose connector - your connected ad platform (for example TikTok Ads Manager) and whether it is connected. One platform is used at a time, and it sets which actions are available.
  • Choose an action to start - the actions available to you, each with a short description and a Start button. A reminder at the bottom that every change runs under your own login, is logged with its reason, and can be reverted.

How every action works:

Every action follows the same path:

  1. Choose an action - click Start next to the change you want to make.
  2. Tell Fospha what it applies to - for example, by pasting a list or selecting campaigns from a table.
  3. Review the proposal - check the current and new values, and edit, add or remove anything before going further.
  4. Approve - approve the change, go back to adjust it, or cancel. You can add a note explaining why, which is saved with the change.
  5. Applied and confirmed - Fospha makes the change in your ad platform, then reads it back to confirm it has landed before marking it done.
  6. Revert if needed - if you change your mind, revert the change from the confirmation screen.

Available in Closed Beta

More actions are coming soon and will appear on the same page as they are released. Until then, Change campaign budgets is the only action you will see.

Before you start

Getting access. AI Actions is currently in Closed Beta and is enabled for a small cohort of clients. If AI Actions appears in your left-hand menu, it is enabled for your client. If you would like to express interest in joining the Closed Beta, or to be notified about updates, please contact your Fospha Customer Success Manager (CSM).

To use AI Actions, you will need:

  • AI Actions enabled for your client. An AI Actions entry, with a Beta tag, appears in the left-hand menu.
  • A connected ad platform. Today that is TikTok. You need a TikTok Ads account you can log into directly, because the connection runs under your own TikTok Business login. The person connecting must be able to sign in and have permission to change budgets.
  • For Change campaign budgets: TikTok campaigns with spend in Fospha, so you can select them or match a pasted list against them.

How it keeps you in control

  • Your identity, never ours. Every read and change runs under your own login in the ad platform, never a shared Fospha account.
  • You approve every change. Fospha prepares the proposal; you decide. Nothing is sent to your ad platform until you approve.
  • You see exactly what will change. Every proposal shows current and new values before anything goes live.
  • Everything is logged. Every applied change is recorded in the Fospha AI audit log, with any note you add when you approve it.
  • Everything is reversible. An applied change can be reverted from the confirmation screen.
  • Each action does one thing. An action only makes the type of change it describes. Change campaign budgets updates daily budgets only. It does not create, pause, retarget or re-bid campaigns.

Steps to get started

Step 1 - Connect your ad platform - connections are set up and managed in Settings.

For TikTok:

  1. In Fospha, open Settings and go to the Connectors tab.
  2. Find TikTok for Business and click Connect.
  3. Sign in on TikTok's own screens and approve access. Fospha never sees your password, and you are returned to Fospha when it is done.
  4. Click AI Actions in the left-hand menu.
  5. Under Choose connector, check that TikTok Ads Manager shows as connected for your client. If it shows Not connected, click the arrow beside it to go straight to Settings > Connectors. Actions cannot be started until the platform is connected.
  6. Under Choose an action to start, find the action you want and click Start.

Step 2 - Open AI Actions

  1. Click AI Actions in the left-hand menu.
  2. Under Choose connector, check that TikTok Ads Manager shows as connected for your client. If it shows Not connected, click the arrow beside it to go straight to Settings > Connectors. Actions cannot be started until the platform is connected.
  3. Under Choose an action to start, find the action you want and click Start.

Change campaign budgets

Use Change campaign budgets to raise or lower the daily budget on one or more TikTok campaigns in a single approval. For example:

  • You keep next week's budgets in a spreadsheet and want to apply them without editing each campaign in TikTok.
  • You want to increase budgets on your strongest campaigns by 10%.
  • You want to trim spend across several campaigns at once.

Step 1 - Tell Fospha which campaigns to change

The Change campaign budget screen gives you two ways to choose campaigns. Use either one, then click Continue to proposal.

Option A - Paste a list from your spreadsheet

Copy rows from Excel (or any spreadsheet) and paste them into the Fospha AI box. Each line should have a campaign name and the new daily budget at the end of the line. Fospha matches each line to the right campaign in your TikTok account.

What Fospha accepts:

  • One campaign per line, with the budget as the last number on the line. Columns copied from a spreadsheet are fine.
  • A header row is ignored. If the first line has no numbers and mentions "campaign" or "budget", Fospha skips it.
  • Budgets written naturally. A number can end with a currency symbol or code, or a "k" (for example 500, £500 or 2k).
  • Lines without a budget show a warning but do not stop you. You can add the amount on the next screen.

Limits, shown live under the box so you can see how close you are:

Limit

Value

Lines per paste

100

Characters per paste

20,000

Characters per line

300

Invisible characters that sometimes come along with copied text are removed automatically, and Fospha tells you how many it removed.

Option B - Select from your campaigns

Under Or select from your campaigns, choose the campaigns you want to change:

  1. Use the filters to narrow the list: Campaign objective, Campaign strategy, Market, Lead KPI and Currency.
  2. Use Search campaigns to find a campaign by name.
  3. Tick the campaigns you want, or use the select-all box to tick everything currently shown.

The table shows each campaign with your chosen lead KPI and its average Spend / day (30d), to help you decide. You can pick up to 100 campaigns at a time. Changing a filter clears your ticks, because the list has changed. You set the new budgets on the next screen.

If you use both. The paste box and the campaign list share one screen and both keep their content. Fospha uses whichever you touched last. If you have both, a link at the bottom lets you switch: Use selected campaigns instead or Use pasted list instead.

Step 2 - Review the proposal

Fospha checks your campaigns against TikTok and reads their live budgets, then shows the Proposal screen. The header tells you whether it was "Proposed by Fospha AI from your pasted list" or "from your selected campaigns", and a badge shows how many rows matched (for example "8 of 10 matched").

For each campaign you see the Current budget, the Proposed budget and the Change. Current budgets are the live values read from TikTok, not figures from your spreadsheet. Nothing has been sent to TikTok at this point.

On this screen you can:

  • Resolve rows that did not match. A row Fospha could not match, or could not match with confidence, shows as Unmatched. Click Choose campaign to pick the right one from the Closest matches, or remove the row. Nothing is proposed for a row until you resolve it. If you pick the wrong one, Undo, keep unmatched puts it back.
  • Edit a budget. Type a new value in the New daily budget box on any row.
  • Change many rows at once. Use the bar above the table to set a rule for all selected rows: Set to, Increase by or Decrease by, as an amount or a percentage.
  • Remove a row. Removing a line drops it from the proposal and its budget is not changed. Fospha asks you to confirm first.
  • Page through long lists. Proposals show a page of campaigns at a time.

 Step 3 - Approve

The Approval screen shows the final set of changes: "Applies to N campaigns in your TikTok Ads Manager account".

  1. Check the table of current and proposed budgets.
  2. In the Context box, add a note explaining the change so the next person understands it (for example "Scaling winning retargeting into peak; trimming the low-ROAS test"). This is optional, and it is saved with the change in the Fospha AI audit log.
  3. Choose one of three options:
  • Approve and action change in TikTok - applies the change.
  • Adjust - goes back to the proposal so you can edit it.
  • Cancel - nothing is sent and no spend changes.

Step 4 - Confirm, or revert

After you approve, the confirmation screen shows what happened on each campaign. A change is only marked Applied, confirmed on TikTok once the new budget is confirmed in TikTok. Fospha also checks the change against TikTok's own change log and confirms that a record has been written to the Fospha AI audit log.

If some campaigns could not be changed, the screen shows Partially applied and says how many changes could not be confirmed on TikTok. Those were not applied.

From the confirmation screen you can:

  • Revert all changes - restores the previous budgets in TikTok. Each row shows whether it was reverted, and the button stays until every line is back.
  • View in activity - opens the audit log in Settings > Connectors.
  • Start another change - returns to a fresh start screen.

Finding the record of a change

Every applied change, from any action, is recorded in the audit log: what changed, who approved it, when, and any note you added. To open it, go to Settings > Connectors and open the audit log, or click View in activity on the confirmation screen.

 Managing your connection

  • Manage or disconnect your ad platform from Settings > Connectors at any time.
  • If your connection expires (TikTok requires periodic re-sign-in), you will be directed back to Settings to reconnect. Your setup is preserved.

 Tips for best results

  • Start small. Try one or two campaigns first to see the full path end to end.
  • Keep the campaign name first and the budget last. One campaign per line, with the amount at the end, gives the cleanest match.
  • Use the full campaign name where you can. Shorter or abbreviated names are more likely to come back as Unmatched.
  • Check the Current column. It is the live TikTok budget. If it differs from what your spreadsheet assumed, the proposal is still based on the live number.
  • Use the rule bar for percentage changes. It is quicker than editing each row.
  • Add a note when you approve. A one-line reason makes the audit log useful to whoever reads it later.

 FAQs

Which actions are available today?

Change campaign budgets. More actions are coming soon and will appear on the same page.

How do I get access?

AI Actions is in Closed Beta and enabled for a small cohort of clients. To express interest, or to be notified about updates, contact your Fospha CSM.

Does Fospha change anything before I approve?

No. Choosing campaigns, pasting a list and reviewing the proposal do not change anything. Nothing is sent to your ad platform until you approve.

What if Fospha cannot work out which campaign a pasted row means?

It marks the row as Unmatched and leaves the decision to you. It proposes nothing for that row until you pick a campaign or remove it.

Whose login does Fospha use to make changes?

Your own login in the ad platform, so changes are attributed to you in the platform's own records. Fospha never uses a shared service account and never sees your password.

What can Change campaign budgets do in my TikTok account?

Read your campaigns and budgets, and update daily budgets on changes you approve. It cannot create, pause, retarget or re-bid campaigns.

Is there a record of what was changed?

Yes. Every applied change is logged in the Fospha AI audit log with the approving user, the time and any note you added.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. Click Revert all changes on the confirmation screen to restore the previous budgets.

Does AI Actions make changes automatically or on a schedule?

No. Every change in AI Actions is one you start and approve yourself. For changes that run on a schedule, see Fospha AI Agents.

How do I revoke access?

Disconnect your ad platform from Settings > Connectors at any time.

Which platforms are supported?

TikTok is the only platform supported today.
